Government Insurance and abortion

The facts are that tax payers have already funded abortion in the past and the house and the senate will use any tactic to stall the debate of discussing or debating health care reform. The plain fact is if you live in America you have some basic freedoms that were afforded by our constitution. This means that people believe abortion is killing a baby and some people don’t believe it is a baby. We are afforded by our constitution to voice these differences and argue for our beliefs. However, at what point do we stop helping people that are sick and need medical attention because we want to argue moral points of views that can only be answered by the person that is actually involved in the immediate situation at the time of occurrence and therefore prior points of views could be subject to change.

If a gentleman adamantly states for the record he is against abortion and therefore government tax payers should not pay for abortions we have to ask if he were a women wouldn’t he want the opportunity to make the choice for abortion? We also have to look at the debate of abortion; if abortion is wrong because you are killing a baby what makes killing a baby OK because the mother’s life is in jeopardy or because the mother has been raped? If ultimately the goals are to protect the unborn baby or fetus then government medical insurance should not allow for exceptions because it becomes a problem when government policy introduces these grey areas that problems with laws and procedures are challenged.

In conclusion about tax payer funded abortion we must agree that all people are morally and religiously responsible to themselves and their god and to trying to create policy that dictates what is morally right and what is morally wrong warrants a need to bring to consensus what is morally right and what is morally wrong in all aspects of life. There has already been one document that has not been enacted into congress that lays the foundation of this moral compass but is not observed as US LAW and upon acceptance would constitute an overhaul of all laws to and regulations.
